Across Canada, there are so many old barns and houses that have been abandoned. Some barns, though are still being used as you can see from some of the pictures. I just wish I knew the stories behind the old homes that were once the heart of a family. |

This effect is accomplished by merging an overexposed photo with a blurred one. It is named after Vancouver Island photographer Michael Orton who first used this technique to resemble paintings. |
